Kyu grades

At our club, all adult judoka that do not have a black belt will be kyu grades.

Kyu grades provide a  structured way to learn the core techniques of judo.

All of the information on the Mon grading syllabus is covered at the British Judo website: https://www.britishjudo.org.uk/my-judo/grading/grades/mon/. There are also instructional videos to help you brush up on your understanding.

Whilst we encourage everyone to take an interest and understand what is required for their syllabus  at home, practising the judo techniques themselves should only be done at the judo session under the watchful eye of a qualified coach.
